Xavier Veyry

Xavier Veyry is CEO of AXA XL’s APAC & Europe Business Unit. Since joining AXA in 1996, he has been involved in several of the Group’s strategic initiatives in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Mr. Veyry started his career with AXA Insurance E.C. in Europe before being appointed as Country Manager of the entity in Saudi Arabia and then COO of AXA Insurance Gulf. Throughout his tenue in the region, he successfully built AXA’s healthcare practice in the Middle East.
Moving to Seoul in 2011, Mr. Veyry became CEO & Chairman of AXA Global Direct’s Asian Hub and AXA Direct Korea, and later on to Shanghai to hold the role of CEO of AXA Global Direct, which brought together all of AXA Group’s direct insurance subsidiaries serving around five million customers globally.
Mr. Veyry was then appointed as CEO of AXA China & Executive Chairman of AXA Tian Ping to oversee the process towards full ownership of AXA Tianping, creating the largest foreign-owned P&C insurance company in China.
Since joining AXA XL in 2020, Mr. Veyry has been driving the establishment of the company’s APAC & Europe Business Unit and the reorganisation of AXA XL’s insurance operations in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
