Melanie Steiner is a globally recognized risk, ESG and corporate governance expert, with 25 years of industry experience. In 2020, Melanie founded Inspirion Group, a boutique risk and ESG advisory firm where she serves as CEO. In addition, she currently serves on two boards: Nouryon, a global specialty chemicals company headquartered in the Netherlands; and Trillium Health Partners, a leading hospital in the Toronto area. She is Faculty at Digital Directors Network (DDN), an organization dedicated to improving digital and cybersecurity risk oversight in the corporate boardroom, and World 50, a private community for senior executives to collaborate, and share ideas and solutions.
Previously, Melanie was the Chief Risk Officer for PVH Corp. (NYSE: PVH), owner of iconic brands Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, where she oversaw key functions including ERM, ESG, Cyberecurity, and Internal Audit. Earlier in her career, she was a lawyer and Big 4 management consultant, during which time she founded and built out the climate change and sustainability practice at EY Canada. Melanie holds a LL.B. (J.D) from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto and a LL.M. in environmental law from the University of London, UK.
