After obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, Kerry began his career as a Spacecraft Operations Engineer working for Airbus Defence and Space (part of Airbus Group) for 4 years and spent six months on secondment to the European Space Agency. He then decided to change direction and became a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen. Following Arthur Andersen, Kerry spent five years at Vodafone, working in Internal Audit and Financial Reporting before moving to FM Global in 2007.

Throughout these diverse roles in different industries, the common thread has been focusing on process risk and process improvement, identifying what can go wrong and assessing mitigating controls/strategies.

Kerry joined FM Global as Internal Audit Manager and was subsequently Treasury and Collections Manager and Financial Reporting Manager. Following this, in April 2012, he became a Business Risk Consultant in order to develop his career in a client-facing operational role and is now Group Manager, Business Risk Consulting (EMEA).

Kerry’s experience allows him to leverage his prior risk management and financial experience to help clients identify business risks, quantify exposures, prioritise risk improvement and business continuity mitigation strategies and ultimately reduce the frequency and severity of losses.
